What is ClashFX?
A modern macOS proxy client powered by mihomo with Enhanced Mode (TUN), built-in YAML editor, remote subscriptions, and optional Pro dashboard.
What should I do if ClashFX cannot connect?
Turn off system proxy and Enhanced Mode and verify base connectivity. Enable system proxy with a known-good node; if that works, enable TUN and check admin permission, DNS, and VPN conflicts. See TUN troubleshooting and diagnostic tools.
What is the difference between ClashFX and ClashX?
ClashFX is rebuilt on the actively maintained mihomo core with free TUN and a built-in editor. See ClashFX vs ClashX.
Is ClashFX free?
Core features are completely free including Enhanced Mode, subscriptions, and the YAML editor. Pro is an optional upgrade.
What macOS versions are supported?
Official recommendation: macOS 12 Monterey and later (through Sequoia). Source builds support macOS 10.14+.
Pro
Is Pro a subscription?
No. Pro is a lifetime license. Payment via card, PayPal, Alipay, or WeChat Pay; 14-day refund per official terms.
How do I activate Pro?
After purchase, open ClashFX → Settings → Activate Pro and enter your email and License Key. See pricing and activation guide on this site.
Technical
Where is the config file?
Default: ~/.config/clashfx/config.yaml. Switch configs from the Config menu. (Official FAQ lists ~/.config/clash — we follow GitHub.)
Where should I download safely?
Only from GitHub Releases or SourceForge.
What permissions does TUN need?
Administrator approval on first enable. If the network drops after enabling, check DNS, VPN leftovers, and conflicting tools.
How do I import a subscription?
Menu bar → Config → Remote Config Management → Add; or clashfx://install-config?url=.... See import guide.
What protocols are supported?
VMess, VLESS, Trojan, Shadowsocks, Hysteria2, WireGuard, and more.
Stable vs Lab channels?
Stable is default, tested, every 2–7 days. Lab ships fixes faster with an orange icon badge. Switch under Settings → Debug → Update Channel.
